Where we live

Joining the 251 Club

Today we got our official welcome package to the 251 Club of Vermont. There are 251 towns and cities in Vermont. There are also countless villages - incorporated and unincorporated - and several random "uninhabited" places.

We've be talking about it for years, but we realized with no planned vacation, no camps, and somewhat interested children, we might as well start this summer.

I have been making a spreadsheet of all the official cities and towns, plus villages and then plotting them on a Google Map. We are starting with our home county, Windham, and then will either continue up the river valley (Windsor) or across the south (Bennington).
